14 - 35 YEARS OLD
We consider our target audience to be from the ages of 14-35 years old. Our users will probably have a passion for fashion with the thought that authenticity and uniqueness is important to them as a person. This specific audience are also individuals that are very interested in trainers and like to care for them. Whilst researching we found a study that stated ‘consumers aged 18 to 34, remain the key age demographic for online commerce, spending more money online in a given year than any other age group’. We wanted to make sure that we based our audience off of this valuable information as we want our users to also be heavily involved in online commerce simply due to the fact that our application is digital and would be classed as being online. Therefore we need to make sure we are attracting the correct generation of users, that are heavily influenced by the digital world and technology.
We also want our users to feel comfortable with our application, instead of it being heavily contented and over complicated like CAD for example. For this particular reason we ensure that our app is going to be a user friendly environment. Our users do not have to be professional to interact with our app and thats why we decided to look at applications such as paint for some inspiration as these apps are very easy to use.
