As part of our project we decided to dissect a shoe, in attempt to separate all the different areas and components that come together collectively to create a shoe. Firstly we started off separating the sole from the upper area of the shoe. Continuing on, we began to dissect the upper area of the shoe, separating areas like the tongue of the shoe.
Before doing so, we created a 2D digital version of a shoe, developing it piece by piece. This helped us to grasp what areas of the shoe are included and it made it easier when dissecting the shoe, knowing which part to separate from what.
